Blog Catch up on Labor Day

Schatzi is back home. Everybody is back over the river. I have to share a video though Sarah shared with us from their vacations. It is just too cute.

Sarah still had a couple of days before she had to go back to work. Fun with the children.

She came by our house and we all went to Meadow Farm Park. There is a really nice playground.

We also went to the farm but it was too hot. The animals were all hiding in the shade. Papa had to help the children at the water fountain.

Few days ago I was finally fed up with my phone. It was getting old and not behaving nicely ... even though James had taken it not too long ago to get a new battery. The new one supposedly has a much better camera. But can it take better selfies? (after the purchase)

Thursday evening we finally managed to get together with some friends. Kim and Mike suggested the restaurant Natalie's on Cox Road. Very nice. Julie had not yet been there either.

The cousin is Lebanese. James had Lamb Shank (above) and I tried the Shawarma. It was something new to me and I liked it.

Sarah had to work this weekend. Caleb likes to go to our church so James picked him up early in the morning and he spent most of the day with us. After church and changing, James needed to lay for a moment on the floor to stretch his back. Caleb thought it was funny and joined him.

It wasn't quite what James had had in mind.

In the afternoon we bartered with him. On the way to bring him home we wanted to pop into the fabric store. I had a good coupon (60 % off) which was expiring. The backing for the latest quilt is bought with incredible savings.
In exchange we went afterwards to SweetFrog. Caleb loves that place. James and I were very good. Only Caleb had one but it was fun watching him.

Nothing else to report. End of the month. I worked a lot on the church newsletter. Trouble with the church software and sending mass emails from the software. Lots of wasted time since I had to be involved  but finally all seems straightened out.

September. We can start counting until we can visit the Nashville family and then go on vacation. Yeah!
