Family Trip - Day 9 - Lechbruck / Partnachklamm & Garmisch-Patenkirchen

Wednesday July 3

First thing in the morning Helen went to the bakery. 

After that, our young people wanted to walk the highly recommended Partnachklamm (Gorge) in Garmisch-Patenkirchen. We older people decided that we don't need to do that.

We played cards instead. And, of course, visited with each other. James and I don't see Ute that often.

We had agreed to meet our young people in Garmisch-Patenkirchen after their hike. When we arrived we found that parking is a bit of a problem. Finally we found a spot and sent this screenshot to the others. Yes, it worked. They parked right next to us.

We walked around separately because there was some shopping involved. And finally we all went for some refreshment in this place.

And then we had a downpour and made our way home ... getting wet on the way to the cars.

I think we had some take-out food at the house.

It was a great but tiring day. We will sleep well again.
