Getting William from NC - part 1

Well, lots of photos in a short time.

The first photos was sent to me by Helen who had brought her son to camp Lutheridge on Sunday June 29. I think it was his 4th summer.

Wednesday July 2 James and I picked Caleb up from his mother's workplace at 8 am and went on our way to North Carolina. Helen, who works/teaches via zoom had rented a house close to the camp so we all would have some time together before William's camp finishes and we take him to Virginia for "Omi camp".
Helen wanted to have a little time with her godson, so he came along for 3 nights.

Sarah had sent this photo to me a few days earlier. We are sure that the dog Cooper will miss his boy.

When we arrived Wednesday we chilled by watching some soccer on TV. After all the "Gold cup" and "Fifa championship 2025" was going on. All our boys are very interested in that.

The house was very convenient located. We could walk to the center of the town.

Dinner in an Irish Restaurant. Wow, the portions were huge.

Hendersonville is a cute little town. Fun walking along Main Street.

No idea how many painted bears we did see.

Helen takes beautiful photos. She should have her own blog with flowers and bees etc.

I really liked this piece of furniture. For a moment we were puzzled abaut all the "drawers".

Thursday (while Helen had to teach) James, Caleb and I went to have a look at "Jump off Rock". It wasn't far but that uphill winding curvy road ... gosh!

I wasn't sure whether I was a good or bad Omi (grandmother). I know our boys love to climb. And they are all very good but ... I can't help but have to ask them not to venture too far on my watch.

Can you see the green shirt in the next photos?

As I am behind with blogging again I better stop here and work on "part 2".
