Some culture

We have season tickets for the Virginia Opera and the Richmond Forum. There is so much more one could do but most of the time I learn about it too late.

Our opera tickets are usually for a Sunday afternoon but because we wanted to do something else we changed them one evening to the Friday evening performance. It was awesome as usual including the lecture beforehand.

This is why we had to change the tickets because Sunday afternoon we wanted to go to our first house concert. Peg, a friend in a quilt group, does these. It was awesome ... in the middle of nowhere, ha-ha.

It was a potluck dinner afterwards and then, surprise surprise, we were led to a room over the garage to learn to dance the Virginia reel and other steps. It was a lot of fun ... out of my box.

Ha-ha, this is actually "old news" (mid October) but it was so much fun that I really don't want to forget about it.
