We had a leisurely morning ... which was very nice. No wake-up call. Take your time for breakfast. Packing. Suitcase outside 11:00 am. Leaving at 11:15 am.
I think it took about an hour with the bus to the airport. Then we have to say good-bye to Ronald our guide here. Our Burma experience has been excellent. Sometimes shocking, sometimes awesome. Altogether incredible. People are very friendly.
When I opened the drapes, I found this on the windowsill. Probably a rainy season thing. We had no problems.

Everything went fine at the airport. Ronald had arranged group check-in. No problem. Our boarding passes came with a coupon attached. We thought it was a free coffee. No, it was a free sandwich or chicken burger and a free drink. I had an ice coffee which was very nice besides the sandwich.

The flight to Bangkok took only about an hour and a half. We were surprised to get more food. It wasn't bad but I really was not hungry.

Our new group leader. Ole came highly spoken of by Ronald. So far I am happy because his English is excellent and I can understand him. Not always the case with me.

There was not much left of the day. We settled into our room and I discovered that Internet was good. I am behind with my blog reports and hopefully can catch up.
James goes for a swim. The pool is on the third. Floor and very tiny. Well, we are in the city. We are not hungry for dinner so we just have a snack in the bar. The satay is very good and it's happy hour 2 for 1. Life is good.

Somehow the appetite came and we also had some spring rolls.

Wake-up call tomorrow at 7:30 am. Not to bad. Night night.

To go that far from home and for your travel to be so trouble free is a BIG blessing! Missing you.
