Day 13 of William's visit

Thursday 6/29 -  Except for the almost heart stopping fire alarm thingy but luckily no emergency we had a good night and the twins woke up as always too early but well rested and full of energy. I should have prepared the waffle butter but had not so I had to hassle to get breakfast on the table.

Nutella as always for Owen.

Ha-ha, a photo for Mommy to show that the overnight washing of the camp t-shirts had been a success. Chocolate and marinara sauce, everything gone.

William and I brought them to camp and came straight back. We had a project.

I wanted solar lights for the walkway to the new garden gate but it is really not possible to get the spikes into the ground next to it. So I had made a prototype of a concrete stand. It was rather course looking because the mixture had a lot of stones in it. We decided to sift at least the largest out. The remaining mixture filled exactly the 6 (homemade) forms and a pie plate William made into a stepping stone.

William also enhanced the lamp stands with putting little stones on the top.

All we had to do now was wait and see how they would turn out.

At 3 pm we had to pick the campers up again and bring them to their home. Unfortunatly Omi forgot to put the twins overnight bag into the car so we had to swing by our house first, more then somewhat out of the way. Oh well. But William had looked forward to play soccer with them again. And they did. When Caleb arrived from his camp they went into the basement family room and played some video games. I sneaked down for a photo.

And then it was time to say "see you tomorrow" again. Lucky William gets a lot of "cousin time" this year.
