Day 14 of William's visit

Friday 6/30 - Today is different than the other days. We are not supposed to bring the twins to Maymondt camp and no picking up either. James, William and I are working around the house to get ready to go away for just a few days. Exciting!

William is watering the flowers/plants and blowing debris of the patio.

Omi was also very eager to find out weather our concret project worked. We had to unmold and yes, they turned out way better that the prototype.

The very left one is the prototype.

We wanted to go to the Cabin in Shenandoah in one car. It is more fun. Sarah had suggested that we would be at her house at about 4:30pm. Sarah had taken care of most of the food things but she had texted a list of few items to us last night.
We unloaded James' CR-V for things to go into Sarah's car. Sarah meticulouly put things into hers. The stuff of the 4 boys and 3 adults for 3 nights ... a lot for one car.

I can not remember at what time we actually left. But we drove for an hour and the boys were wanting dinner. Actually it started as a call for a potty-stop. Had we ever been to a Taco Bell before? Anyway, it was a success. Everybody liked what they had.

We arrived at the cabin in good time and unpacked after taking a look at the cabin. Ha-ha, unpacking the kitchen things raised the question "what's for dinner?" Really, didn't we just have had that? Ok, Sarah supplied a little more.

After that the boys discovered the re-purposed garage: the game (or entertainment) room. The spike ball game was of interest right away. Quite fun. Ha-ha, we even have a video of Papa playing.

The boys love watching some kids TV there.

Beds are allocated. Of course beds need to be made. Linens are provided. The boys are settled. And soon asleep.

A little bit of quiet time for the adults. Night, night.
